This is a common mistake many parents make

parenting

Parenting is a wild ride, full of ups and downs, but one thing we should watch out for is comparing our kids.

It's easy to do, but it can mess with their self-esteem and hold them back from being their awesome selves.

Each child with conditions like autism or ADHD has unique strengths and challenges.

Here is what you can opt for Instead of Comparing:

 1. Celebrate uniqueness: Every child learns at their own pace. Instead of timelines, celebrate their progress.

2. Respect physical differences: Understand that abilities vary due to physical differences. Encourage tailored physical activities.

3. Understand sensory responses: Respect differences in sensory processing. Provide a supportive environment for exploration.

4. Reduce anxiety and pressure: Instead of comparing, create a nurturing environment. Focus on internal growth and confidence.

Instead of comparing, practice gratitude for every achievement.

Let’s embrace neurodiversity by celebrating each child's journey and fostering inclusivity and support.
