Is Your Child Properly Protected During Sports Activities?

Safety gear like helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are crucial for sports like skating and cycling.

They protect against injuries by cushioning impacts.

Your child might resist wearing safety gear due to sensory issues.

But here is what you can do - encourage short daily wear during TV time or happy moments.

This can help them to get used to safety gears.

Gradually, they'll grow accustomed to wearing the gear and may even ask for it during practice sessions.

Even if a child seems skilled and unlikely to fall, it's essential to insist on wearing safety gear to prevent potential injuries that could disrupt their progress and wellbeing.

Also, I encourage parents to ensure their child is wear all safety gear during practice sessions at home - to minimize risks.

In sports like skating and cycling, falls are common and can result in serious injuries.

Safety gear significantly reduces the chances of injury and keeps children safe during their activities.

Until next Wednesday!
